Separate SRP keys for 2 BES's?

Hi,

I'm running into some problems with the BES and I suspect it's because those two BES's are using the same SRP key.  Originally, the 5.0 was running on one SRP key on one domain.  I've installed another BES (4.1.6) on a different domain but reused the SRP key.

Do I need to get a different SRP key for both of them to run properly?   If so, where can I get another SRP key and how much it would be?  Is it possible to get a free one for developers?  It's for testing only so I've only got 20 users or so on each BES.

This is a router log from the 4.1.6 BES.  It repeats every 15-20 seconds.  Sometimes emails won't send out properly from the simulator/device while connected to the BB Desktop Manager and apps that want to access the internet constantly get disconnected.

Any ideas are very appreciated:

Re: Separate SRP keys for 2 BES's?

Each BES needs its own SRP.

Shut down both servers (at a minimum stop the BlackBerry Router service), call up T-Support and ask them to re-enable your SRP.  Tell them what you did ... they'll tell you that you need another SRP if you want to have two BES up and running; that is how the  product is licensed

Re: Separate SRP keys for 2 BES's?

Agreed,

Basically if two SRP keys are used, they both get shut down. RIM might be able to offer you a temp SRP key for you to use while developing, otherwise you will need to get a new one.
