Traveler 9 & BES 10.1.1 - no need for traveler policies ?

i have a question regarding configuring traveler with BES.

Is the setting from BES regarding the email synchronisation or the traveler policy (which we don't have yet) or the traveler standard policy setting (which are applied at the first contact) the one which counts on the Z10/Q10 device ?

I just dumped a users traveler information and at the end of the file i get this info:

########## Database Usage (Fri Sep 06 08:35:56 CEST 2013) ##########
Description: Information about how many records the user has in the Traveler database.  The more records a user has, the more capacity the user is consuming.
After the record counts, the current filters are included.  If a user has a large number of records, it may be caused by filter settings that are unintended or undesireable.

We have many BBs that have a short lifetime even when in standby.

Anyone also has experienced this ?

Hi Stephan,

I'm not sure but you might be running into the same problem we had using traveler 9 with Z10 devices. Some Z10s kept getting warm and emptied the battery in 4 - 5 hours.

You should patch your traveler, it fixes that particular problem.
