Two Contact Folders

Each Outlook in our organization has two contact folders.  The default Outlook "Contacts" folder is used for personal contacts.  A second Contacts folders "Clients" is each sales agents clients contact list.  Through the Web Desktop application I setup each blackberry to sync with both folders.  That worked.   If I delete a contact on my blackberry, it deletes on the device and in Outlook.

BUT, if I delete a contact in Outlook, it is never removed off of the blackberry.

As well, people who still have the same amount of contacts, one example is an agent with only 129 contacts, is now getting out of memory error messages on his device.  He has had this device for 2 years with no issues until we went to multiple contact folders.

Where do I start looking for what is going on because we are now experiencing issues with all agents in our organization and have begun the process of going back to a single contact folder as a work around this is solved.

Re: Two Contact Folders

Can you move that folder to be a subfolder of contacts?

Subfolders sync by default.

Re: Two Contact Folders

So far that appears to have resolved the issue.  I still had to select the sub address book in the web desktop in order for it to appear on the device but contacts are able to be added and deleted from both the device and outlook now.

Re: Two Contact Folders

Glad to hear it.

Have the user with the memory issue pull his battery and reinsert it.

This will refresh the memory and fixes many thing like a windows PC reboot.

Then from BES monitor the memory usage during the day.

Possible he has an app that is not releasing memory.
