Hi everyone, at our company we use a mixture of Bold 9000's and Torch 9800's and to configure these we use Blackberry Manager 18.104.22.168 (which I believe is the Blackberry Enterprise Service?)
Anyway, I have just purchased a Z10 as a test device but the Manager doesn't recognise that it is plugged in. I've got the feeling the Manager software is too old so I'm wondering:
a) Is there a cost to upgrading the BES? (I don't recall us having a cost for our current version)
b) Can i upgrade straight to the latest version?
c) Will our older devices work on this version?
Any advice at all will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

BES 4.1.4 is most likely BlackBerry Professional Server whcih was free. Only BES 10 supports BB10 devices
You can update it to BES express for free and also for the Z10 you can install a trial of BES 10 whcih is free and the user CALs are only about 19 dollars per user per year at the moment which you have to buy after trial is over.
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V
