We installed BES and are now on it's latest release 10.1.2 (Win 2008 R2). We have with this release updated the SSL Certificate to our default Wildcard Certificate. All the services run properly but the Management Studio displays no login box. Only the "Logging using:::" Dropdown is there, but empty.
We have so far tracked down the isuse to the wildcard certficate, and got the following error:
Note that the certificate must explicitly list the
*** host name (xxxxxx)
*** or a wildcard name (xxxxx)
*** as either subject name or 'Subject Alternative Name' (SAN).
It further states to
"*** 1. Check if xxxx is the proper host name. If not, please remove it from the configuration.
The used hostname is obviously the internal hostname which should not appear in the public certificate. Also the certficiate should not change and we don't like to acquire a further certificate. Where exactly can the hostname be changed/removed in the configuration to fullfill the requirements stated above. I have navigated to the configuration tool - Enterprise Management Web Services, but cannot change anything there because all fields are read only. Is there any danger to the above operation (removing hostname from config)?
Thanks for help
