Re: https sites via corporate proxy

all local sites are higher in priority than the URL regular expression for the internet

e.g.

Priority 1: local http site -> direct

priority 2: local https site -> direct

priority 3: local https site -> direct

priority 4:  .*://.*(:\d*)?(/.*)*(\?.*)? -> Proxy

Re: https sites via corporate proxy

Hmm, seems fine to me.

How are your desktop getting the proxy info. Through Auto-detect (wpad) or a proxy.pac file? You could try to use one of those methods. That's how we do it and it works fine. We just set the BES proxy settings to AUTO and it will find the wpad file which tells him which IP ranges are local and which are public.

Proxy setting to our desktops are published via Active Directory GPOs

Re: https sites via corporate proxy

btw:

On our proxy trace it shows how the bes attempts to access the local site. of course the proxy returns a dns error.

It seem that the bes is routing the traffic to the proxy instead to the local server.

maybe a bug?
