1720 error

i keep getting a windows installer package error when i try to load the blackberry user tools from the cd that came  wtih my 8310. i've tried everything they recommend on this site: disabling scripting of my antivirus software and updating the windows installer package but it still won't load. any ideas?

I am not sure about that error, if you search the Knowledge Base support here you will likley find it.

 

Download Desktop Manager from here:

I would recommend the version 4.6, and if you are on Vista, install it using Administrator rights on the install to your PC.
