Are you getting an error message?  Have you tried removing the battery and putting it back in to reset the blackberry?

Just to make sure, you're not getting a speific error message?  If so, let me know please.

In the meantime, here are some things to try.

When you get a chance, do a battery pull.  When the red light goes away on the front of the phone, hold down the back button the entire time while the phone is booting up.  When the boot is complete, the phone will enter safe mode.

Remove bbm from the device and do another battery pull.

reinstall BBM - here are a few ways.

I think you canuse the desktop manager to install bbm as well.
