My Device: Curve 8310
My Carrier: AT&T

2nd BB 8310 to shutdown completely in the last 9 months

My first 8310 lasted about 5 months. It shut down completely with only the red indicator light turning on and off every few seconds. Tech support with AT&T thought it was the battery. After trying the new battery, and with no success, AT&T (warranty) replaced the phone with a refurb. My refurb has lasted about 4 months (just long enough to surpass the 90 day warranty) and now this one is doing the exact same thing. Absolutely nothing happens when plugging in the phone, attempting to turn it on, anything. It's just dead. I tried the first replacement battery that AT&T sent me hoping this was the case, but it's not. I am not abusive to my phone, but it does live in my front pocket instead of the case. What am I doing wrong? Or is this just the nature of the beast and I should go for a different brand of phone altogether?
