2nd hand Blackberry 8310 works but email setting impossible

When trying to set the email function It says "This blackberry is registered with a different service provider please re-register this blackberry and verify the URL matches the one etc.. " The phone comes from UK and I live in France so of course I do not know who was the former owner. French Orange seems to be no help with this problem.

 I went all over the forum and tried the solutions I found in the messages but nothing that works. Furthermore I am a Mac user so most of the manipulations I've found on the forum are very different with pocket mac. So my BB is just a normal phone for the moment.

Does anyone know how to solve my problem? Thank you very much.

The problem has been solved by contacting BIS they suppress the account remaining from the former owner.

Hope this can help other people. I'm free!!!!!!! and it's working perfectly.
