Re: 3GP videos

im going to buy a blackberry next week and i want to listen to streaming audio in a format such as aacplus, or something like realmedia or windows media players streaming format

do these stream on the curve 8300?

here is an example of a website, the formats are listed under select player

im wonder if any of those formats would work

also, which blackberrys have the most computing power, compared to the curve 8300

thanks very much

Re: 3GP camera crash, bad 3gp file, header missing

A camcorder failure forced use of my 8310 video recorder.  The 8310 crashed often leaving raw 3GPs that I must recover.  I have tried without success to analyze & repair the missing 3GP headers, which currently start with "RIMM".  Can only play the damaged 3GPs using GOM Player, which lets me see and hear all videos.  See, http://www.gomlab.com/eng/ . GOM Encoder cannot re-encode the bad 3GPs.

Help?

Re: 3GP camera crash, bad 3gp file, header missing

if I were you I would use a software to record a rectangle portion of your screen, and play in GOM and record it, for example in xvid format or divx or mp4.
there are free software for that. I can't remember the name of the software I am using unfortunately.
