I have the AT&T 8310, and just the other day I got an email from Blackberry about upgrading to software version 4.5. I followed the directions in the email and did everything that it told me to do, including downloading an updated version of the Application Manager for the phone. When everything was downloaded, it came up and said that my Blackberry is running the latest version of the software available, but when I go into the phone's Option<About menu, it says that I am still running software version 188.8.131.52.
From what I have read, I know AT&T is not releasing the 4.5 software for the Curve, but then why would I get the email telling me to upgrade?
Does anyone have any thoughts on how I might fix this?
