610_b038_multilanguage.exe is not a valid Win32 application

I'm trying to install the BB Desktop Software v6.1 so I can save my contacts on my PC. I have downloaded the software from the official BB website, I running Windows 7 32bit, I have verified the system requirements and its compitable. When I run the downloaded *.exe file I get an error:  ...... 610_b038_multilanguage.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

What is the cause/resolution for this error. Please assist.

Re: 610_b038_multilanguage.exe is not a valid Win32 application

the solution is very simple.

the server was out of order few minute after the start of the download....and you receive only a part of the file.

Install firefox and the addon " Down them all"

go to the download file of

610_b038_multilanguage.exe is not a valid Win32 ap...

select the file

and choose down them all the file.

after the file is OK (116.96Mo) and that will be OK when you execute it

Hello,

This KB, while still written for Desktop Software through version 5.0, may perhaps still be applicable:

  • KB03490 Internal Error 2738. Could not access VBscript appears when installing BlackBerry Desktop Manager

Good luck!

No, not at all. What I suggest is you adapt the remedies in that KB to see if perhaps they can fix the situation you are having.
