Would which update be available? If you want to find the latest software from your carrier, look here: http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/downloa
If you want to find out what updates are available for your phone regardless of what carrier, you can find out quickly on this site or else on blackberryforums or crackberry.

Guys, it's your call, but you could be waiting months for your carrier to release a new OS, and then they might release the same version that you could have gotten immediately when it came out from another carrier. I haven't had a Bell OS on my phone since t-mobile released 184.108.40.2064. Since then, I'm on my third different OS, none from my carrier. Good luck!

I concur with darylm on this one. Loading another carrier's OS is like going to another car dealer for accessories after buying your car at the dealer down the street; they're still the same accessories and they'll perform just as well, but you chose a different store from which to buy them.
As darylm stated, it's your call. However, any uncertainty really is unfounded.
Whatever you decide to do, good luck with it.

You can just as easily reinstall the old OS as you can a new OS. If you have problems, go back to the old OS. In the 4-5 months that I've had my phone, I've had 6 OSes on it. I installed .391 last week. If a new leak comes out tomorrow, I'll probably have it on my phone within a couple of days.
