8130 Application help

I cannot get applications on my 8130 Pearl. When i hook it to the computer, it says that the desktop software doesn't have the software of the device or something like that. What do I need to do?

This message typically comes up when you don't have the handheld device software installed on your computer. Your BlacKBerry device comes with a particular operating system version installed on it. In order to install third-party applications, this same version of the device software must be installed on your computer, along with the Desktop Manager.

 

The handheld device software can typically be downloaded from your wireless carrier's web site. Here is a link to the different carriers' sites:
