Re: 8300 Camera & Pic File Problems

I tried pushing on the lens gently with a q-tip. This didn't work. So I pushed a little harder. Still solarized. So I pushed a bit harder, and felt a click.

Unfortunately the "click" was the lens shattering in pieces.  This is a warning!!!

Re: 8300 Camera & Pic File Problems

How can I mark the post that solved it for me? Only the OP can do that right?

Re: 8300 Camera & Pic File Problems

i did this. but the clicking sound was that of my lens breaking, which i wasn't anticipating.  so i had to pick glass out of the lens area.  it did fix the problem though.  bitter sweet.
