8310 Email issue

Is there any way to turn off the "Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T" message on all sent emails on a BB 8310?

I know I was able to delete it on a previous BB model but I was also on a different BB server.

Re: 8310 Email issue

  1. go to your Messages application
  2. hit the Menu key
  3. select Options
  4. select Email Settings
  5. and there you can disable your auto signature or modify it.

I just modified the one on my PC Desktop :

 "Sent via my desktop PC"

Re: 8310 Email issue

my email settings on my 8310 gives me 3 options only; confirm delivery, confirm read, and send read reciepts. Am I missing something? I would like to install a signature also if this is possible. All my mail reads "Sent via Blackberry" also. I have 4.5 OS and AT&T is my carrier...

                                   Thx, Steve

Re: 8310 Email issue

I have the Curve 8330 Verizon. You must go online to your carrier/Blackberry site. Sign in, and you will see your Blackberry EMail and any other EMail you hav in connection with your carrier

Click on edit, and you will see the signiture portion, just check off the sent from my blackberry  wording, ;click save, and you will not see the sig on any future Emails you send.

Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks,

Writer~

If this solves your issue please close the thread. As the originator you are the only one that can do it. Just use the options over the kudos star. That way other users can find resolutions quicker!

Thank very much!
