8310 and taking video's

will the new 4.5 os let me make video's on my 8310? or is this model strickly picture.

Yes, OS 4.5 will allow video.

No, the Video recording will be enabled when the phone is upgraded to OS 4.5. Nothing to buy- except you might want a larger capacity SD card to store the videos.
