8330 Caller ID

Caller ID displays teh company name and phone number from my address book and not the callers name.  I would like the caller to be identified.

Re: 8330 Caller ID

If the caller from the company is calling out on a trunk line (multiple line system)....it will pick up the first available outgoing line, which might not match the number you have in your phonebook.

Re: 8330 Caller ID

I agree with jrdante. I just added a company name to my landline number and called my BB. When I do I get the following for example Bob Johnson 584-658-1958 Allstate Insurance. So unless you have all the lines from that particular company saved in your address book with the same name it is not going to work. If a company has a three line phone system, 555-444-1112, 555-444-1113 and 555-444-1114 you have to add all those numbers to your contact with the same name and same company name to enable it to say the company name and contact name. Make sense?
