Hi I have lost the use of googlesync following its removal and can no longer find a way to sync my outlook 2010 calendar with my 8520. I have read lots of messages and reports but nothing seems to work. Can anybody suggest a totally free way of doing this please and if possible easy steps to change things?

You can sync over the air.
From the device go to blackberry.com/integrate
and see if you can setup your email from there.
Your outlook 2010 can stay the same if i'm not mistaken because that is pulling from google. If this gives you troubles, give your carrier a call and they can assist with an over the air setup. Just need a bit more details if possible.
delete google sync if you haven't done so already.

Thanks wolf for your prompt response but just to clarify it is only the calendar that i wish to sync as I am having no problems with emails etc. So will this be possible just for calendar sync? ( sorry if silly question as i am learning as i go)

Google have ended support for their standalone google sync app. But the calender and contact sync can still be enabled via BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS). To know more on the issue head to this link: Google Sync for BlackBerry End of Life

Hi Thanks for the replies but not sure if i am missing something. I have followed the links as suggested but still cannot get this to work. I feel it is likely i have done something wrong but wondered if anybody has a foolproof step by step guideline to do this?

the only difference is to click on calendar if it isn't selected.
You can also manage your sync settings from
but if you can't login, give the carrier a call. They can help too.
