8520 not saving new photos

My Curve 8520 has stopped saving new photos to the Media folder.

When i take a photo, it says "saving" and gives the usual number, but if I then go to media, the picture does not appear. At the foot of the pic are five options - Take another Picture, Set Picture As, Rename Picture, Delete Picture, and Send Picture.

I've deleted some pictures in case it was a memory issue, but it makes no difference.

Have I unknowingly altered some setting, or is it simply a fault?
