I am trying to sync my BB Bold (8700) with Outlook for the first time on this PC.
It is not working.

It has been a nightmare trying to keep Blackberry - Daylite-i-Cal and Adress Book (Snow Leopard) & Google calendars in order on my MacBook Pro. Daylite adivsed I had to buy Busy Sync in order to sync with a Google Calendar. (can't afford Daylite's newest version right now). Then I had to get Missing Sync as I had hoped it would help with duplicate calendar entries and other horrors. It did, sort of, but a lot of my calendar events and contact info got killed, probably due to the way they map data fields from Blackberry to Missing Sync. So, in order to recover my data, I thought...clever me...I'll back up the device, then restore the last known good address book, calendar and task list from backup (not full restore). Then, I'll sync it with a fresh version of MS Outlook. Then, I'll restore (full restore) the blackberry to today's backup. Then, I'll sync it again with Outlook and manually resolve all differences.
Unfortunately, my first attempt to sync with MS Outlook failed as per the log info above.
It could be anything from acorrupt calendar entry, to a calender entry with an attachment to who knows what.
I'm stumped. And user down. Have missed client appointments and important doctor visits due to my calendar being mcstoppified.
Tried so far
I've tried allowing paths and files through the AVG security setup, thinking perhaps it was a virus checker problem, but so far that hasn't helped at all...even turned off firewall to no avail.
If ANYONE can help mem resolve this, I would be most grateful.
