I have a 8800 and i was wondering is there anyway of backing up my contacts in my sim card and address book so when i sell my 8800 i can reload them real quick instead one at a time by typing them in. thnx.
You have 3 options...
1.) Backup your device. (ipd file) - you can restore at a later date to your new phone.
2.) Use the Switch Device Wizard. (Use a new Desktop Manager 4.5 or 4.6 which has this feature)
3.) Go to your address book and menu your first contact. Then menu the first phone number. With the cursor on the first phone number, use the menu key and you will see "Copy to Sim".
I think your going to find that there is a limit of 250 addresses to a SIM card.
I also think that option 2 is your best bet.
Good luck on your new phone and let us know how your doing...

Address Book, Go To Contact, Menu first phone number, use menu key - Copy to SIM Phone Book
(Tested and works.)
Do you have the number where the cursor is?

1 at a time (by design) sorry...
250 limit on GSM sim and you can only use one phone number per contact...
Glad you got it figured out....
