8830 Nightmares

I have just installed Desktop Manager and it asked to update the phone, so I let it do it, it then rebooted and then after the phone came back up desktop manager stated that it could not proceed with the update and the only option was to cancel. I am now left with a phone with a white screen, no cursor or anything, retried to connect to desktop manager but now will not even see it, tried rebooting the device, it wont, so took battery out and then put it back in, still just a whitye screen and the desktop manager software still wont see it...  PLEASE HELP!


I have called the local shop, but they were worse than useless...

Seems that some wrong/incomplete data has been written in BB memory.


Try to follow steps described in this article


You'll need a patience and luck. Sometimes steps described in that article help to reload device OS.
