8830m apps at app store

I have an 8330m and my wife has an 8330 curve both are sprint and we both have unlimited date plan. I can't load half of the apps she can and when i search for apps like Viigo it cannot be found. Rim really needs to fix this.

Re: 8830m apps at app store

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

Are you both on the same (and recently updated) version of App World? If not, that could be part of the difference.

Also, I believe that App World is device sensing -- so it won't show you apps that are not compatible with your device. Since your devices are not identical, I guess I wouldn't expect to see the identical offerrings.

Lastly, it is the app creators that make their app compatible with the devices...App World is basically a portal. So I'm not sure what RIM really needs to fix.

Check out the things above and see if things improve for you.
