9670 for UK

Hi

New user here! Does anybody know if the Style 9670 will be coming to the UK? Blackberry have said nothing to my service provider, O2, except for rumours that some new hardware may be released in the Autumn.

Next question would be, if not, can a USA-bought, CDMA handset be 'converted' or 'unlocked' to work with GSM?

Many thanks

No, the 9670 won't be coming to the UK.

Yes, but it's not always easy. Why would you want to do that? Buy a GSM model.

Sorry, didn't know a gsm model was available. Do you know where in the USA they're available?

Sorry, no, I misunderstood you. There is no GSM model flip BlackBerry. The 9670 was the only Flip model made, and it was only CDMA. It will not work at all on GSM networks.
