9700 "Error 523", cannot load OS

Dear All,

 

My 9700 cannot load OS, once it started the OS for 3 secs, "error 523 reset" appear, and then a dead loop.

How can I reset the phone in this situation? Thank you so so much.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB24395 "Error 523", "App Error 523", or "JVM 523" appears on the BlackBerry smartphone

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

 

Otherwise, you might need to try more drastic measures:

Then again, if the problem is the hardware, there's no amount of internet distance diagnosis nor OS-level repair recommendations we can give that would help. Only a qualified technician, with the device in their hands, could then give a proper diagnosis and estimate.

Thanks, just reloaded OS6 with combined methods.
