My 9780 randomly stops sending and receiving all messages (text and email). When I try to send a message the little clock icon never changes to the check mark and the message is never sent. The only way to know if I can send/receive is to try to send a message and have it fail, Some days I don't send any messages at all, so I don't know that I've been mising emails and texts all day.
Removing the battery fixes it temporarily, but it's starting to happen more frequently and now I keep thinking that I'm missing messages.
I suppose it's just a coincidence that this is happening as my contract is nearing the end and Bell keeps texting me to buy a new phone? Planned obscelesence or outright sabotage?
Any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Delete and Resend Service Books (pre-BB10 devices only)
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your configurations for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
