I have set up my Torch to recieve email that is from my btinternet account, it receives emails fine, However when i turn my laptopn on and open Outlook, which then requests new emails) the emails on my Torch disappear ?? Has anyone come across this before and know what to do ? I called Vodafone but after telling me i should delete all my messages in oulook ! like 9500 mails it should work ! after telling the chap that this is not the solution the line went dead !
I have had the same procedure working for last few years on my bold so cant understand why this is now happening !

That Vodafone rep is silly.
You have your Outlook set to delete the messages on the email server, which when that happens the "delete" syncs to your BlackBerry.
There is a setting in Outlook to "Leave Messages on Server".
For MS Outlook 2003:
1. Outlook > Tools > Email accounts > View or Change existing > next.
2. Highlight the email account > Change > More Settings.
3. Advanced Tab > Leave a Copy Messages on Server
4. Check that box.
* You will need to perform this edit for each Outlook email account you have.
Other versions of Outlook have a similar setting although it might located in a slightly different location in the :advanced settings.
