9810 won't back up with BB desktop software

"The backup failed due to an unexpected error."

This is the first time I have attempted to backup my phone on this computer, and I keep getting this error message. I believe the software is up to date.

Please try to isolate what may have caused the issue if its the USB cable, the Desktop Software or a software from the PC that may not allow the connection. Also further check if you really have the updated version of the Blackberry Desktop Software.
