9850 2 problems

I have 2 problems, #1 I keep getting the same message "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NullPointer Exception" and #2 Updated password for an email account, got a message from Blackberry that says it cannot access the account, password might have been changed, you must vaidate. when I click on the validate button, it take me back to the message list. also cannot access thru setup

Please try this FIRST, using your BlackBerry browser...
• Go to mobile.blackberry.com  OR  www.blackberry.com/integrate
• Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.
• Choose the appropriate email set up options, enter your password to validate the account.
