I have some music on my media card, and the 9860 is showing duplicates of some tracks. I checked and there are actually no duplicate files. Is the database or something possible corrupted? How to I fix this? I would prefer not to do a WIPE. Thanks.

Ok folks, its not duplicate files.
What's happening is that one album has seven tracks, but for some reason track 1 and 6 are getting put in its own album listing with the same album cover and name, and then track 2,3,4,5, and 7 are getting put in a separate album with the same name and album cover.
I did see a difference between track 1 and 6 wherein they had no Genre or Year like the other tracks did. So I added the same Year and Genre as the other tracks and its still keeping those two files separate in the listing. Argh! HELP.

I figured it out.
Tracks 1 and 6 did not have an Album Artist (but they did have an Artist) and in turn were separated into their own two track album. I was using WinXP which does not have an Album Artist selection. I ended up using an MP3Tagger which revealed the discrepancy.
