[ Edited ]
Yesterday I got the blackberry torch 9860 & I had a problem with the IBM ( Can't send or receive any invitations ) . I called my network customer service and they informed me that the service is successfully activated to my Sim card  & that this problem is with the new blackberry products ... Waiting Your Reply : ) Thank you

Re: 9860 bbm problem

Hi
First try to pull out the battery just in case.
You can also try to reinstall the BBM from the app world.
I presume you can browse the internet as well as send emails.

Re: 9860 bbm problem

thank you for your replies so far.

i have been battling with the device since your last reply but no luck.

i just called my service provider too. they asked that i delete and re-install BBM. I did but still not working.

but there is onething i noticed.

the BIS under setup can't connect. where do i get the login credential (i did not use this to get my bold 2 to work) and is this having anything to do with why the service status show "BIS = not connected"?

thank you for your help.

Re: 9860 bbm problem

i have mobile data on and WI-fi too.
I tried registering on MTN Nigeria BIS site and this is what I got:

"Your BIS account is suspended/deactivated. Please contact MTN Nigeria at customerservice@mtnnigeria.net"

please what can you make of this.

I have also sent email to the included address and hoping they will resolve the issue.

Thanks

I see. You need to contact your service provider.
