my problem is i can't setup bbm on my device at all. the setup spins forever. actually over 8-hours now.
the BBID also can't login after update.
please, how can I solve this problem I love this phone a lot.

it shows 3G (with the BlackBerry dot-dot logo beside it).
i checked the service status:
BlackBerry Internet Service = not connected
BlackBerry Enterprise Server= not connected
Even though MTN Nigeria (MY service provider) sent me text each time i on the device that my device has now been registered on the Network.
Is this actually nwe BlackBerry phones problem?

thank you for your replies so far.
i have been battling with the device since your last reply but no luck.
i just called my service provider too. they asked that i delete and re-install BBM. I did but still not working.
but there is onething i noticed.
the BIS under setup can't connect. where do i get the login credential (i did not use this to get my bold 2 to work) and is this having anything to do with why the service status show "BIS = not connected"?

Please check if your mobile data is ON. Options > Mobile Network > Data Services > ON

I see. You need to contact your service provider.
i have mobile data on and WI-fi too.
I tried registering on MTN Nigeria BIS site and this is what I got:
"Your BIS account is suspended/deactivated. Please contact MTN Nigeria at firstname.lastname@example.org"
please what can you make of this.
I have also sent email to the included address and hoping they will resolve the issue.
