I'm having the same sort of problems with new torch 9810 and 6 series. It connects but then fails when I try to call. If I then manually connect again, sometimes it works fine. Sometimes it repeatedly fails and I have to either delete the car on my phone and pair again. However, deleting the device on the iDrive can't be done as it is greyed out. I have tried rebooting the Torch, turning off the car - but when it failes a re-pairing is all that will work. I had no such problems with my old Bold and the Torch 9800. If Blackberry don;t have a solution the phone is going to have to go back.

I'm running 7.0.0 Bundle 1465 on my Torch 2 and that seems to be the latest version - so an upgrade isn't going to help me..yet.
Come on Blackberry - do you have a fix? It's easier to change my phone than my car!

Based on BMW's past performance, and RIMM's lack therof and a ton of bugs not even mentioned in this thread with my 9900. I am more inclined to believe BMW then RIMM.
RIMM fix the issue please. It is long overdue.

Same problem with a 535d in the Netherlands. BMW dealer is no help. Its a RIM issue as my old Curve works fine. This stream of mails starts to become a problem Tsunami. RIM?

I'm having the same problem with my 9930 as highlighted in these posts with a 2011 Toyota Prius. I know a couple of work arounds have been suggested for the BMW, but anyone have a possible work around for the Prius??
My wife's BB Bold 9650 continues to work great. However, this incapatability with 9930 is a real problem.
