9900 often gets freezed

my set often gets freezed and hanged  and needs more than one attempt to be restarted

I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.

Thnks...my phone freezes several times in a day for about 20-25 seconds each time even if no updates or any app is installed.what's may be the possible fix for it

At an internet distance, I can think of dozens of possibilities. What I've given you above is a diagnostic method so that YOU can perhaps figure out what the cause is. Depending on the results, your next steps will be better indicated. But, if you ignore that and want all possible answers, the list will just be too long to be of any use.

So, please conduct the Safe Mode diagnostic routine...and let us know how it works out. Depending on how it works out, we can give you more guidance.

For instance, if the behavior ceases in Safe Mode, then you know it's a 3rd party app, and can start trying to remove those to determine which is the case.

But, if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then something else is wrong, and more drastic measures might be needed.

But not trying Safe Mode at all leaves us still guessing...and not even SWAG...just truly WAG.
