9930 Contact list

For the past two weeks my phone will not register information from my contact list for any incoming calls or texts.  It only displays the phone number, no names, no custom ring tones.  This may have started after a software update.  I cannot find a fix.

Is this affecting all your contacts?  What version of device software are you currently running?  Type myver in a message and hit the spacebar to get this information.


Do you have any special characters in front of the numbers? Like + or a space?


If you remove one of the contacts and re-add them does the caller ID pick it up?

Software is Version 7.1.


It is affecting all contacts, but only on incoming calls.


No special characters.


I tried deleting and reinstalling a contact and there was no change.


This all started about two weeks ago, and it seemed to be right after a software update.
