A question about wifi hotspot app

Hi There!

I cuurently have the Nokia E5 and i have downloaded joikuspot (an app  to make your phone into a wifi hotspot) but it seemsthe app is not that perfect as my Galaxy Tab can't seem to find my phone. (after checking the settings, visibility, etc.)

my question is  there any other similar blackberry app like joikuspot? or am i better off with a BB phone that can act on its own as a wifi hotspot? if yes then which phone please?

and also on a side note...what makes a BB phone better than a Nokia phone? are there more apps on the App world than the Ovi store as far as you guys know?

Thanks.
