ACTIVATION REQUIRED PROBLEM ON BB BOLD 9930!

HI, MY BB SERVICES, CALLS, TEXT MESSAGES..ETC ALL WORK, THE PROBLEM IS THAT ACTIVATION REQUIRED IS WRITTEN ON THE TOP OF MY SCREEN. I COMPLETELY BOUGHT MY BB BOLD 9930 FROM SPRINT. BUT WHEN I CAME TO MALAYSIA  I CHANGED MY SIM CARD EVERYTHING WORKED EXCEPT THE PROBLEM OF ACTIVATION REQUIRED WRITEN ON THE TOP OF BB SCREEN. I CONTACTED  MY CARRIER BUT HE DIDNT KNOW THE PROBLEM. I SEARCHED IT EVERY WAY BUT I COULDN'T FIND THE ANSWER.PLEASE KINDLY  GIVE ME AN ADVICE AND A SOLUTION TO IT. THANKS AND GOD BLESS YOU.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB32815 After enabling the Mobile Hotspot feature on a BlackBerry smartphone a message indicates "Activation Required"

Hopefully it contains something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.
