ANGRY, cannot delete credit card information

I am VERY angry that I cannot delete my credit card information from my "My World" account. This situation is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

I have to use my BB for work. I will NEVER purchase a BB product for my personal use.

Re: ANGRY, cannot delete credit card information

Correct, that's just the way it works. A credit card on file is required.

Sorry. RIM isn't the only vendor that works this way.

No problem. I'll just ask my bank to change my credit card number.

Re: ANGRY, cannot delete credit card information

Maybe so.  Amazon allows you to delete credit card information.

This requirement with RIM is not going to endear them to customers.  With all the identity theft going on people are trying to protect their financial information.  You'd think  RIM would understand that.   It is totally rediculous and I hope they eventually reconsider this.

Re: ANGRY, cannot delete credit card information

No wonder RIM is going down with this type of attitude from customer service

Re: ANGRY, cannot delete credit card information

Htjiawa, I am not customer service for RIM. This forum is not customer service. We are users just like you, but trying to help. For customer service, contact your mobile service provider.
Take care.

Re: ANGRY, cannot delete credit card information

This is for everybody's safety, it would make the App World wide open for stolen credit cards etc. if people was able to change credit cards all the time.
By the way, Sony and their online gaming systems also works this way, cant really say that they are losing grounds to anyone... If you sell your device to some unknowns, just clear all info from your device first!
