APP WORLD WON'T OPEN, "FREEZES BB" , AFTER UPDATES

Hi everyone

 

Yesterday I had three updates to make. I did the first one, restarted, then I had the bad idea to launch in the same time the two other updates from the the little bar that indicates lost calls, and any pending updates on the main screen...

 

Since then everything works fine, but  I can't open the APPWORLD app, and when I try to, the phone remains "on hold", blocked, even the clock stays blocked. Then I wait 20 minutes, nothing...

 

I just have to press twice on the power button, then te clock goes back to correct time, and I can do everything again..Except open and use appworld

 

I tried, with no result:

-reboot the phone with the battery off

-reinstall the appworld application from the phones navigator

-use the desktop application

 

The desktop application, when trying to remove any app, or install them, sends an error message, and I can't finish the operation.

 

Apparently, I have "lost access" to the management of my apps, from the BB and Desktop App....

 

Any idea of what I should do???

same problem I'm having... please help ASAP....

Tried all way which possible as i said by coastimage and also tried remove from application and install from rroyy.com/ota/ still didn't get success....

Likewise... after update to v.3.1.1.21 clicking the App World icon just freezes the handset. Uninstalled & reinstalled 3 times, just the same each time. New "improved" version required a.s.a.p.

I have same problem.  I tried battery pull when phone is on.  Replaced BB app world a few times.  Delete app world as many ways as I can think of.  Called my phone company where I have my data plan and they could not help either.

Same here. This started right after the latest update to BB App World. Icon us there. Click on it and the whole phone freezes. Wait a long time and no change. Reboot and the problem is the same. Uninstall and re install and still the same. HELP!

Any suggestions?

Hi i have updated blackberry app world and now it wont open . please advise me on what to do now ?????

Same problem. I tried deleting and reinstalling app world and wiping them reinstalling the OS, but no luck. Help please!

Same for me. Tried rebooting the phone, reinstalling app world. Nothing seems to make a difference.

Me too!.

 

So disappointed about this update it took me about 4 days of trying and about 20MB of downloads.

Hey everybody i found this on other forum.

 

"Do the following:
options>device>application management
choose blackberry app world
select delete
restart
on restart, send browser to:
http://rroyy.com/ota/
reinstall old version of blackberry appworld
in my case BlackBerry App World v3.1.0.60 (OS6), no more freezing, all good."

 

Worked for me ;D
