Accidentally uninstalled, how to install back?

I accidentally uninstalled Twitter, an application that was already installed on my Bold 9780. I've tried to install it via the App World on my phone but it never properly installs.

Is there any way of downloading it back onto my phone?

Re: Accidentally uninstalled, how to install back?

Hi there,

Start by performing a battery pull, just to ensure that all of the files have been properly cleared. To do this, simply remove the battery while the phone is on for 15-30 seconds, reinsert and wait for the device to reboot. Once you're back up and running, simply go to http://www.blackberry.com/twitter on your device browser and you should be able to download it from there.

Good luck and I hope that works for you!

I tried logging in to my app world but I got locked out. I've already reset my password 6 times. I have a bb 9330. Any help?

Re: Accidentally uninstalled, how to install back?

Let's deal with that Twitter issue first. Go back to that link I provided before and scroll down. You'll see a link there that allows you to download the app without AppWorld. The link is below the first one which directs you to AppWorld.

Once you have that done, its time to fix your BB ID issue. On your computer go to http://us.blackberry.com/id/. Try to reset it from there. If you still can't, contact your carrier for support. If they are unable to deal with it themselves, ask to be escalated to RIM who should be able to get you back up and running.

Keep me posted on how things go and if you need further assistance, I will see what I can do. Smiley Happy
