Accidently deleted Email Setup from a 9360

Hope someone can help, I have deleted the Email Set-up application from my handset. I need to reset-up my Email address  and when I go through the set-up icon, my handset just highlights it but does not allow me to do anything further.  I think I need to re-install the Set-up application. Where can I download it from and how do I install it?  Many Thanks for any help offered

Re: Accidently deleted Email Setup from a 9360

If you want to get your Email Setup icon back, you'll need to reload your OS using BlackBerry Desktop Software. Plug your phone in and click Device at the top of the software then click Backup and do a backup. Once you've done that, once again click Device then Restore and load the backup you just created. That will reinstall your Setup icon.

However, if you want to set up your email account(s) but don't wish to go through all that, try typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in your phone's browser and see if you can set up your account(s) that way. If it works, you won't need to reload your OS.

I hope that helps you.  Smiley Happy

Re: Accidently deleted Email Setup from a 9360

Hi BillJ,

Many thanks for your advice.  I have tried both methods and I now have the Set-up application back but my device now comes up with unable to access server error.

The Browser option just created an "unidentified error" message.

Many Thanks though, it was worth a try.

Tanks

Martin
