Activation Server email???

I got an activation server email from Blackberry when I turned my phone on this morning (Oct. 2, 2013).

Did somebody hack my account and put my email on their phone perhaps?

Why would I get another activation email congratulating me for setting up an email address that was already set up?

You might ask your BES Admin if he removed and re-added you or has upgraded the company BES which re-actived you.

No one has hacked you.

Re: Activation Server email???

Problem is that I'm a personal user. No business. It was a hotmail address?!?!

Re: Activation Server email???

Then you don't need to have an server activation on a BES.

If you got a message from Hotmail, then you need to go update your Hotmail password.

Check your personal email setup on the Bold.

Re: Activation Server email???

Changed password already. But, if someone hacked me and they have the old password saved on their phone, won't they continue to get my emails?

Re: Activation Server email???

Oh, I said above... no one hacked you.

Your BlackBerry would be the first.

Re: Activation Server email???

I'm not saying the BB got hacked. I'm thinking if someone got my hotmail pwd from another hack, they could, in theory, set my email up on their phone. Hence, why I would have received another activation email. I really hope not. I appreciate your time answering my questions.
