Aerize Explorer

I installed Aerize Explorer program on my Storm and am now unable to remove/uninstall/delete it. I don't see any remove/delete option after using the Blackberry menu key. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. I think from now on if it doesn't come from th Blackberry AppStore I'll leave it alone.

Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see it listed?

 

Scroll to, don't click on it, but > Menu > Delete.

It's on the application list, but no remove option. View Properties. Edit Permissions. Disable Compatibility Mode. Modules. Edit Default Permissions..

I had it and removed it. Use the desktop manager>load applications. Scroll to it and uncheck the box. Hit next.

Reply took a bit of time...had to leave coffee shop and stop at Golden Arch to pick up family breakfast before sitting in front of the computer to use Desktop Manager.

Thanks for the speedy help and excellent results.

For those of you who still can't delete Aerize Explorer via the Desktop Manager, you need to edit the PkgDBCache.xml file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Applications\Aerize.explorer\

 

Change required="1"  to required="0"

 

This will then allow you to remove it from DM.
