Afrikaans Input and Support Language

I've tried all updates possible, everything is up to date and installed, but I still can't add Afrikaans as an input language on my BB Torch 9800.

Is there a small file that can be downloaded and added under the application to be installed on the desktop software? or is there a firmware that needed to be installed. i tried the one from vadacom and at&t. but nothing seemes to work.

The at&t say to install the downloaded folder connect the devise and it will automatically backup and install the firmware to the device, but that didn't happen even after a restart.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Re: Afrikaans Input and Support Language

Hello abndaneel,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

Language package availability for your BlackBerry® Torch™ 9800 smartphone is determined by your wireless service provider.

For more information regarding this, see the following article:

How to obtain language packs for BlackBerry smartphones - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB13067

Thank you.
