Alarm is not playing a tune

i got my new 8900 yesterday and installed the newest available firmware, 4.6.1.85.
got to work 2h late today because my alarm was not ringing (it displays a window with the options to remind again in x min or cancel).
upgraded to 4.6.1.101 but the problem still remains.
(you can not even chose a tune for the alarm)

is there a firmware out there that has the alarm clock feature enabled?

Have you tried to run the alarm with different profiles?

 

Not sure, but what if a profile settings affects on that.

I had this problem when I got my 8900.

 

Fixed it by changing the default alarm tone from the Alarm Options. It should ring after that.

 

Also, you can set multiple alarms by going to the calendar and clicking option > New Alarm.
