Alternative browser suggestion

Found the old blackberry curve so functional with my work and managing certain tasks with my pda modified web page, that I went out to get the new 9000 bold....  just to find it has some yes cool browser but totally not functional for me.

e.g  try to look into a long drop down list and make multiple selections with new browser.  Impossible!

With old browser on curve, I was able to easily goto list item by pressing 1st letter (which it does also on 9000) and select parts of views and work with them with control.

Unless I missing some config option to set it to some mode that makes my life easier.

I guess the not so friendly UI are sometimes more practical IMHO.   It was more like a lynx mode browser if anything that suited me to work more efficiently.

Any chance of getting an old browser curve web browser on the bold?

George

Re: Alternative browser suggestion

Standard BB Browser is an integral part of operating system.

OS for Blackberry Curve is not compatible with Blackberry Bold device.

Try to use another mobile browser.

Opera Mini: http://www.operamini.com

It is free.
