Another WiFi question....

Ok... here is my question. I have the Bold but i dont use the blackberry service... can I still use the WiFi to browse the internet? So far i have no luck. Are there some settings that i need to change? If so where?

Thank you

Re: Another WiFi question....

Yes you can. You will only be able to use the internet. Nothing on the blackberry network will be accessible(bb mail,bb messenger, etc). Installing applications via desktop manager(.alx) will be possible as well.

Re: Another WiFi question....

Exactly as pyrex has said.

To enable Wifi, just hit the Blackberry button, and scroll to "Manage Connections." Make sure the Wi-Fi box is ticked, and go to "Set Up Wi-Fi Network" to configure any necessary settings for the wireless network you are trying to connect to.
