We've had numerous customers with this issue. I don't have them use ALT+R S T, I just have them go to My World (application list) and hit the Menu button and choose "Refresh List". They then reinstall. It's worked for everyone so far.

I'm the poster who escalated this with RIM. I literally spent 1.5 hours on the phone with them and they took screenshots of my phone and all my error logs. This isn't an issue the tech support people had a solution for and they were forwarding it to the software developers for a fix in the next version of App World. I have an open ticket with RIM on this so they'll let me know when it is fixed and/or a new release is coming out. I'll make sure to let this forum know when that happens for those poor folks like me who don't get anywhere with refreshing or ALT + RST.

Open Blackberry App World ( 3.0 for sure ) on your mobile, go to My World, then hold ALT and press R S T ( one by one ) . Your App World will freeze for a few seconds, and it will automatically exit. Open back you App World, and try re-install the apps that you want to install.
Tested and working on 3 mobiles.
this trick worked for me... thanks m8...
