We've had numerous customers with this issue.  I don't have them use ALT+R S T, I just have them go to My World (application list) and hit the Menu button and choose "Refresh List".  They then reinstall.  It's worked for everyone so far.

"Refresh List" did not resolve the issue. Anyone else get to resolve this?

Re: App Installation Problem: Error id: 30220

I'm the poster who escalated this with RIM. I literally spent 1.5 hours on the phone with them and they took screenshots of my phone and all my error logs. This isn't an issue the tech support people had a solution for and they were forwarding it to the software developers for a fix in the next version of App World. I have an open ticket with RIM on this so they'll let me know when it is fixed and/or a new release is coming out.  I'll make sure to let this forum know when that happens for those poor folks like me who don't get anywhere with refreshing or ALT + RST.

Re: App Installation Problem: Error id: 30220

As a workaround, try using the web browser based installation tools. This worked to fix it on my 9900, when Alt+RST, complete app world uninstall and sim card removal, and all the other steps failed.

Try out BBSSH, a free Blackberry SSH client.

Open Blackberry App World ( 3.0 for sure ) on your mobile, go to My World, then hold ALT and press R S T ( one by one ) . Your App World will freeze for a few seconds, and it will automatically exit. Open back you App World, and try re-install the apps that you want to install.

Tested and working on 3 mobiles.

this trick worked for me... thanks m8...

The update to fix this issue was deployed last night and this should now be resolved.

What fix, still not ablle to install or upgrade tapatalk, after rst, shows but says not for your device, then won't show. If I do a seach it shows asking for 3.99 .
Also, why my Playbook apps shows on my phone, my phone apps doesn't show on the playbook.
