App World Update

For everyone who is having difficulties with App World, please check to make sure you have the latest version. I just discovered yesterday that it is updated to v1.0.0.30. It looks much the same, but I do notice that the "My World" information is more accurate now. You can get the update, via your BB web browser, at the same place you got the original...or you can go here:




And have a link sent to your BB (much easier, IMO!)

I have attempted to download App World on my daughter's new Pearl but it doesn't appear to be doing anything. I would think the rectangle below the words "Please wait while BlackBerry App World is loaded on your device..." would fill in as it is loading but nada!  I am using Internet Explorer's latest version. I have the phone connected to the computer as well. So, any ideas?

Try going to http://mobile.blackberry.com/ on the phone.  The second link down in the What's New section is for BlackBerry App World.  I've found that downloading from there has usually been more effective Smiley Happy.
